Shallow Thoughts

Wow! How sad that I didn't have any deep thoughts for more than a month. Sad, sad, sad. The truth is I had plenty of thoughts, some deep, some shallow, okay -- a lot shallow, but with the move to NYC and a ton of work to do, I haven't had the time to write them down. Until now. Well, I don't really have the time, but I'm going to ramble anyway, because what else should I be doing at 2:36 a.m. on a Wednesday night? Exactly.

So, let's see: We moved to New York! The big ol' apple in the sky. A major fete for anyone who knows how long we've wanted to be here. Me, for as long as I was an impressionable young thing watching Who's the Boss and growing up in South Jersey. SoJe. I made that up. I think Kelly Ripa might like it. Speaking of, I like Kelly Ripa (shocker!) and Regis (double shocker!!) and hate Tony Danza! So now that that's cleared up… Technically we don't live in New York, we live in Hoboken. Perhaps you've seen it in Working Girl? It's nothing like that anymore. It's actually really clean, seemingly safe, and you rarely see anyone over 35. Seriously! Very bizarre.

Uh, what else? This is the lamest entry ever. I can't focus! Sorry peeps! Oh, site stuff. So perhaps you've noticed that there were no new horoscopes for August? I don't think we'll be doing them anymore. If that really bums you out, let me know and maybe we'll reconsider, but there are only so many hours in the day so we're trying to focus, focus, focus. Perhaps you've also noticed the new addition of Kelly's Klicks where I dish advice about online shopping. I started writing a column for Pink magazine and thought why am I not sharing this with my readers? So, I hope you're enjoying. If you know of any publications who would be into syndicating it, please tell me! I'm thinking every paper and site in the country would benefit -- who doesn't want to shop online -- right?! Just kidding, but well, not really.

Things to be on the lookout for: A book (my first!), a new line of products designed by moiself, and hopefully a more frequently updated site! Oddly enough, Who’s the Boss just came on the tube so I'm taking my cue to end it here. It’s the one where Samantha joins the basketball team. The excitement!!
