TREND #2: Rich Embellishments Rock

This season, go on and embellish. From embroidery to metallics, the time is now for special detailed extras. We love the innovative chunky crystal embellishments seen on everything from dresses to bags (did you scope out all of those embellished necklines at the Oscars?). The look is futuristic, fresh and glam in an unconventional way and one of our favorite trends of the season. Sparkly sequins, high-gloss patent leather and chain metal all are big and back-to-the-future for spring. Embroidery seems to be de rigueur, but forget the boho look of yore and reach for a more sophisticated version this time around: think little boho girl gone glam.
