This Devil Wears Certain Dri
We plan on heading outside this long weekend for July Fourth festivities -- and waiting in a looong line for The Devil Wears Prada opening today (you are seeing it, right?). Unfortunately though, outdoors in the summertime means one thing our air-conditioned-office selves aren't used to: HEAT. But don't worry hauties, we're going to share our latest beauty find with you that'll keep you looking haute, not hot. Certain Dri Antiperspirant. This is not your ordinary roll-on that stops working after a few hours. Do we sound like a commercial? It really is that fantastic. Trust us. It changes your life. Never again will you have icky sweat marks on your fave tops. Best of all, a sweat-free existence costs way less than the price of that Devil Wears Prada ticket you're about to buy (might as well skip that line and buy your ticket here instead). Score your Certain Dri here. And let's hope that whatever chemical makes it work so well doesn't kill us. |

Jane's Addiction
Okay, we're obviously obsessed with trying to get organized and making our office as cute as a button (despite the piles of paper strewn across our desks). And one of our absolute favorite sites on the path to doing so is See Jane Work -- the destination for office style and organization. If you don't know about it yet, be forewarned: the site is addictive. No more ugly or boring office supplies, Jane is all about the colorful, chic and stylish. Fab file folders, lovely laptop cases (including our faves by MARKA), darling desktop accessories -- you name it, Jane's got it. Right now we're feeling quite moody so we're digging the Go Away door sign (not that we really have any doors in a loft, but it gets the point across, no?). Check it all out, including these adorable PepperPot business card holders that we can't live without, at See Jane Work here. |

Haute Help for Hollywood
For some reason, big greeting card companies seem to think we like boring, stale, predictable cards. That's probably because we keep buying them, but what else are we supposed to do when they're seemingly the only option? Realize they're no longer the only option. The genius that is Paper Bride (who brought us hip and awesome wedding cards check them out if you're a bride or know one -- psst, Naomi: Nic would love the Deluxe Bridal Box!), has also started Paper Mama, so you can give new moms, and those special peeps who help them, truly fab cards. Pick up a thank-you card for your superstar OB, a congrats card for a newly adopted bundle of joy and even cards for often-overlooked big sisters, bros, grannies and daddies. Check out both lines at Paper Bride and Paper Mama here. Somebody please pass this along to the friends of Brangelina, TomKat, Gwen and Gavin if they didn't already get the memo. Then head on over to scope out the new Lola Says line, which boasts sentiments never covered by the Hallmarks of the world, like a card that says congrats on not being pregnant and a card for your friend who got stuck with a sucky roommate (paying attention friends of LC?). There's even a card for your friend who just had to move back in with her parents and for your other BFF who finally paid off her credit card debt. Check out the entire fresh line here at Lola Says. There's even a card to say congrats on your new boob job, but not one to wish Ashlee and her new nose all the best (but we're sure it's coming soon). |

Identity Crisis
A few weeks ago when we wrote about The Renegade Craft Fair, we featured a gorgeous floral wrap top. And we got loads of emails asking who made the top. Since we love the whole line, and dig the name too, we decided to feature the whole shebang. Identity Crisis Clothing is run by Austinite designer Karly Hand who makes each and every piece on the site by hand as it is ordered, so it's to your exact measurements. When you consider you're getting couture and the prices are less than you'd pay at Banana, it's an amazing deal. Plus, shipping is free. We love all of the tops and think the skirts are pretty cool too (some are length adjustable and appliquι interchangeable for goodness sake!). Even the hipster fanny packs are covetable. Check out all of the fabulously cool offerings at Identity Crisis Clothing. |

Project Blueprint
We personally really love the new Martha mag Blueprint, a design and lifestyle mag targeting peeps our age (that would be young-at-heart stylistas with uncommonly haute taste, despite very common budgets). There were a few great ideas and projects, one of which we're implementing at BussBuss HQ is the carpet bulletin board. Snag a few Flor tiles, staple gun or nail them to your wall and voila, you've got a super chic bulletin board to pin up to-do lists, fab stationery, fabric swatches, magazine tearouts or whatever else inspires you. Score the project instructions here and the Flor tiles here. We chose five Walking on Clouds tiles in ballet slipper pink with one Amazing Lace flower tile in white for that graphic pop we love. Love it too? Let us know what you'd design on our Haute Talk boards! **image credits: iomoi.com; thepaperprincess.com |

The Coral of the Story
Last year coral hit the big time, not only in fashion, but in home accessories too. But the only choice seemed to be red coral, which is beautiful, but soon became ubiquitous. Luckily, this year, there are some more creative choices. For example, you can mix it up by donning a new hue. We're obsessed with the dyed yellow coral necklace on sterling silver chain at Bonnin Designs. Bright and flirty, it's a piece that can take a tank and jeans from so-so to so haute. If yellow's not your thing, check out the mint green, salmon or more tradish antique red. Pick your pretty poison at Bonnin Designs, plus receive an exclusive 20% off when you use code BUSS20 at checkout -- and score free shipping too. If you're more about the absence of color, you'll love the white coral trio necklace at Rena Tom. Three lovely white coral branches, some with a hint of pink, are mixed with carved white bone and a bit of dangling chain in the gorgeous gold-filled design. Score the white wonder right here at Rena Tom. |

Vintage Amore
Our obsession with vintage only gets stronger with each passing click and this time our clicking has lead us to love Vintage Amore to be exact. You may have noticed a trend here at BussBuss: We love looking haute, hip and one-of-a-kind, but we don't want to pay gobs of green to do so. Plus, mass-produced normally equals snoozefest for us, hence the love of vintage and independent designers. So what's so fab about Vintage Amore? The cool finds and the even better prices. We've never seen any item cost more than $20 and just last week scored an adorable '60s dress for $13, rocking silk scarves (to use as belts and handbag accessories) for $5 and awesome long necklaces, brooches and belts for less than the cost of a ticket to The Devil Wears Prada. And now we're craving this red, white and blue dress to knock everyone's socks off for July 4th weekend a steal at just $18. Check it out, along with the whole slew of goodies, right here at Vintage Amore. |

Floating Shelves
Because BussBuss is in an open loft, we're constantly in pursuit of clever organizational solutions. We literally flipped (didn't know BussBuss could do cartwheels, did ya?) when we saw these invisible bookshelves in the latest Chiasso catalog. Simply set a large hardcover book into the shelf and then add a stack of books. The bottom book should be the largest in the stack. Two small, hidden rivets hold the hardcover book in place, so the bottom book becomes the shelf (each holds 15 lbs.). We're going to see if they can hold our unhealthy collection of mags too. Get organized in style for just $15 at Chiasso. |

It's no secret that we love the guys at Fred Flare and we are loving them even more right now as they're sending out their Daily Dispatches from Paris. They're just so fun and cute and make us want to call up our private plane and have a late dinner in Paris. You can read their Daily Dispatches here and see what's new and cool in Paris. As for what we're loving on their site? This adorable dachshund stitch-it kit seriously, how cute are these pillows? Speaking of European adventures, one of our fave design blogs, design*sponge, also just got back from Paris and Amsterdam and is sharing her fab finds on her addictive blog check them out and scope out what's new and cool in the design world. It's travel and shopping day without leaving your desk at BussBuss. Bon voyage! |

New Father's Day
What to give the guy who's about to become a dad for the first time for Father's Day? How about the gift of his masculinity? After all, why should he be subjected to toting a very girly diaper bag when he can sport a bag so manly no one would ever suspect it's a diaper bag? The Diaper Dude (the kind Brad Pitt totes around) will keep his manhood in check and comes in camo, black, brown, grey or blue and is adorned with dragons, peace signs, guitars and the like at Diaper Dude. Or give him a cool bag by SKIP*HOP, like the Expo, which hangs neatly on a stroller and can be worn over the shoulder. It comes in charcoal, red, black, blue camo and olive at SKIP*HOP. Check out more great gifts for Father's Day right here it's just six days away so get up on it hauties. |

Slick Lips
We're more fashion obsessed than beauty obsessed here at the big double Buss (even though we're firm believers that a great healthy faux tan and pretty hair and teeth are all you need to make even the rattiest of outfits look good), so it takes a lot for us to Buss a beauty product. But we're really puckering up to the glossy Swizzle Sticks from Urban Apothecary. Packed with luscious extracts of coconut, papaya and sugar cane, one end of the tube boasts super-rich color, the other end a matching lip liner (perf for toting on the go). They give just the right amount of color and sheen to make our lips luscious, glam and yummy. Pick up your own Swizzle Stick (and embark on a little jetsetting) colors include Santorini, Malta, Tahiti, Trinidad and Maui at Urban Apothecary. |

Succulent Stationery
With all of those summer BBQs, pool parties and cocktail soirees you're about to be invited to, wouldn't it be nice to just once be prepared with a hip hostess gift? No last minute scrambling that leaves you showing up frantically with yet another wine bottle. A haute gift to give? Letterpress notecards. And we are fawning over the ones by stationery designer 1201am. We especially love the 'Chirps' and 'Strange Flowers' sets. All are blank inside so score a set for yourself and never be caught without thank you, birthday or get well cards either. Pick up some letterpress lovin' at new artist-featured giftware company The Succulent Wife (with a name like that, how could you resist?). |

Fab Father's Day Gifts
We're not sure how it happened, but in a week and a half Father's Day will be here. Yup, already. So it's time to talk cool and appropriate gifts for the guy who helped give you life or for the one your kids are now calling Daddy. We've rounded up our faves of the year and there's something for every Dad in every price range. And we're extra gaga over what the Brooklyn-based Stewart-Stand brothers are churning out. We first met the design duo a few years ago at a show where they were debuting their innovative Flatlinks cufflinks. And now they've upped the coolness ante with their new Stainless Steel Wallets. They feel like super soft silk, are flexible and ultra-thin, yet are extremely durable (after all, they're made of stainless steel), so your fave guy can say bubye to that embarrassing bulge on his backside. Plus, he'll totally geek out to this tech-safety fact: RFID blocking devices prevent credit card fraud or theft of information on any smart chips embedded in cards kept in Stainless Steel Wallets by Stewart/Stand. Safety, practicality and ultra-hip style what guy wouldn't love that? Pick up a wallet for Dad at stewartstand.com. And check out our complete list of Fab Father's Day Gifts right here. |

Couture Bubble
We've been big fans of Austin-based line Amet and Sasha since we lived in the cool college town, back when BussBuss was just a twinkle in our womb. And we're loving their latest goodies, particularly this sweet bubble dress in comfy jersey. You can pick your favorite dress color (black, brown, baby blue, grass green, red, grape, olive stripe or grey) and then choose the color you'd like for the top (celery, buttercream, etc.) and before you know it, you'll have a couture creation that cost less than dinner last weekend. Each piece is literally made to order to your exact measurements how glam! Also pick up the clever wrist wallet while you're there and you'll never be without your BFF that trusty plastic card you're about to pull out to order your Amet and Sasha couture finds. |

Okay, it's time to fess up. We have a bit of a vintage addiction and we may or may not have been not sharing our favorite online vintage shops with you because we wanted to keep all the goodies to ourselves. We're sorry! Can you ever forgive us? Consider this our first step on the path to redemption. One of our ab fab fave sites, Adore Vintage, just posted a huge update with loads of new items, from dresses to belts to bags, shoes and more. And their famous LookBook section and fashion editorials are majorly addictive and now you can shop straight from them (owner and stylist Rodellee Marie should definitely be tapped by Teen Vogue for some styling work). Check out the new haul here and be forewarned: If you see something you love, get it right away because these babies are one of a kind and go fast. |
