Wander Must: Mexico’s Crystal Caves & Bucket Lists

Lately, I’ve been working on my Bucket List (and also trying to come up with a much better name for said list — any ideas?). So when the immensely talented  Julia Rothman tweeted about the giant Cave of Crystals in Mexico, I immediately added them to my list. You can’t currently visit them, as they’re part of a mine, but I’m sure that will change someday. Aren’t they stunning? They’re made of gypsum (the same thing White Sands is made of) and it’s 122 degrees down in the caves. I’ve been training in the desert, so hopefully when they are open to the public one day, I’ll be ready.

Do you have a Bucket List? What’s on it? I’ll show you mine if you show me yours…

I want to go to Japan before I kick it. I’ve been to Tokyo, but I want to go to rural Japan, and see what’s going on there.
