My favorite thing about Fall is taking my nieces Trick or Treating! I love to be part of their excitement!

My favorite things about fall are hot apple cider and the return of tall leather boots. Apple cider is delicious, and boots seem so much more practical after a summer of strappy sandals.

I love when the leaves start to change color and the wather starts to get a little bit cooler and people start to put pumpkins out in their yards.

There are so many things I like about fall as it is my favorite time of the year. Matisse paintings by Mother Nature on the hillsides, the pumpkins finally at their best waiting in the garden for their Halloween faces, the smell of fresh cut logs in the living room as we prepare for winter’s chill, beginning thoughts of Christmas shopping as we wander the mall, but I guess one of my best things about fall is coming in the house and remembering the smell of chili sauce, crabapple jelly, mustard pickles and tomatoes stewing that welcomed me home from school when I was a child and grandma was doing her yearly canning. Those smells permeate my heart every year with memories so sweet and longing so strong it is no wonder this is my favorite time of year.

Fall is all about coziness–scarves, making big pots of hearty soups–and taking time to give thanks for our blessings.

My favorite thing about fall? There are so many things I love about fall! The vivid colors of the fall landscape as the trees begin to go to sleep for the winter…the taste of a freshly harvested apple…the smell of pumpkin pie cooling,fresh from the oven…feeling the warmth of the sun on my face on a cool day…

My favorite thing about fall is being able to put on my favorite oversized sweater and going outside to write in my nature journal. Fall is so filled with beauty that it’s hard to find just one thing to write about, not to mention trying to focus as the breeze tickles your face with joy.

My favorite things of fall are the colored leaves, the crisp cool weather and the big pots of comfort food. Chili, soup, gumbo…etc.

I love the changing of the leaves and the oh so perfect temperatures. After fall it’s way too cold haha.

I love the fact that there is change and you never know what you are going to get exactly. Cold weather, wind, mild coolness, colored leaves, comfort food!

My favorite thing about Fall is a tad bit silly but has always been something that I look forward to after the southern summer heat. I love how cold the tap water is from the faucet, this has always been the way that I know its Fall and that it is time to break out all of my cool weather clothes.

I love all the beautiful leaves that fall to the ground crunching under my feet!
