Last night I had the pleasure of attending a Golden Globes kick-off party at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood, hosted by Audi and jewelry designer Martin Katz. Here are a few snapshots from the event and what I wore…

My favorite Los Angeles fashion designer, Lisa Michelle, lent me some darling options…

I ended up choosing this silky espresso romper, which I paired with a glittering beaded Lisa Michelle bow belt to add a girly touch and a bit more shape to my waist.

I love a good bow, so added these bow-adorned blush-toned heels, too.

I tossed on some diamond earrings, slipped into my favorite Kristen McCloud cuff, and painted my nails with Galion by NARS and was ready to hit the town.

I had fun on the red carpet with friend and fellow fashion editor Sydne Summer (don’t you *love* her black-and-white shift?).

Speaking of black and white, I loved the black-and-white striped floors at Cecconi’s.

I can’t help it; it’s the details that excite me!

Of course, it was fun spotting celebrities — and what they were wearing — too. Black and white were the colors of the night. Zoe Saldana dazzled in Jason Wu and Julie Bowen looked like anything but a soccer mom in Naaem Khan. Also in attendance were Ian Gomez from Cougar Town, Johnny Galecki from Big Bang Theory, Joel McHale of Community, Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family, Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer from The Help, Rachel Hunter and Maria Menounos, among others.

In addition to star-gazing, we couldn’t resist having a little fun in the photo booth! It was such a lovely night and I can’t wait until the Golden Globes this Sunday (watching the red carpet is my fave!).
