Like comfort food, some TV shows are comfort shows for me. You too? For a long time it was re-runs of Friends, then Seinfeld, then Sex and the City. Now, it’s King of Queens (why didn’t I watch this show when it first aired?). And the best part of King of Queens? Jerry Stiller. I adore him. Every line is perfection. “You’re painted like a whore and you’re smoking cigarettes. The whore part I’m used to, but the smoking’ll kill you!” He was a great Costanza, but he’s an even better Arthur Spooner.

Who makes you laugh? What’s your comfort TV?

I love my husband more than anything, but a Brownie Husband on the side? Okay! In fact, I’ll take two… Want one too?

Perfect for Valentine’s Day, don’t you think? And one of the few companies who actually successfully advertised their product and not some silly joke. Who’s ready to move to Paris?

The GRAMMYs red carpet featured a lot of frock stars, some rising stars and some falling stars. We loved seeing gams on the red carpet, but who wore it best and who’s shorty dress fell, well, short? You decide.

Completing the red carpet rainbow? Giuliana Ransic in deelish orange, Lea Michele in green Catherine Malandrino and Anna Kendrick looking like a young Marcia Cross in Alberta Ferretti, a huge improvement from her Golden Globes Marchesa that swallowed up her petite frame.

The newly engaged 30 Rock star Jane Krakowski also shimmered in white, proving that she will indeed be a beautiful bride (she need only wear this gown again). Katrina Bowden opted for a short, flirty frock tied at the waist with a black bow and Kyra Sedgwick closed the deal in a Vera Wang knockout.

My darling Hubs gave me a Snuggie this Christmas. When I opened it, I believe my reaction went something like, “Oh. What? Oh. Thanks?” Despite being the cliché of a girl who is always cold (I’ve been known to have goose bumps in 85-degree weather), I never saw a Snuggie infomercial and thought I’ve got to have one of those! However, it ended up being an ah-mazing gift. And, despite looking like Chewbacca in it (mine is brown), the Hubs actually uttered these words, “I know this sounds weird, but that Snuggie really suits you.” I believe my reaction went something like “Oh. What? Oh. Thanks?” He meant the brown color, which brings us to the other perfect rainy day ingredient, Nutella. No elaboration needed there. I love that he got me a Snuggie to match my Nutella.

Actually, come to think of it, there’s a third ingredient for the perfect rainy day: a good laugh.

Laughs aside, I have a Snuggie and it’s super soft and long and luxurious. Perhaps it’s a second generation Snuggie? Um, actually I think it is, as I just found it online. It’s the Micro Plush Snuggie Blanket in chocolate brown. Yum.

It’s Up in the Air star Anna Kendrick’s first time on the red carpet and for that we say not too shabby. Why she made the Worsties and not the Besties? She went overboardies (kind of like us with that statement – sorry!). But the petite 23-year-young scene-stealer looked too done and her Marchesa frock aged her well beyond her tender years. A classic case of the dress wearing her, not the other way around. She’s a clever girl though,  so we look forward to seeing her turn it around next time. And we are sure there will be many more next times. Tina Fey. We love you. So much that it pains us to call you Little Bo Un-Chic. Ouch, we know. Quite frankly, from the ribs up, you look divine. From that horrible waistband down, well where do we start? If the intention was comic relief (Hey, I know what will go great with my umbrella!) then you succeeded Mary Poppins. Moving on… Kate Hudson is normally on our Best Dressed list. She always manages to look dazzlingly effortless and California-cool. Which is exactly why this structured 40-year-old bride concoction isn’t working for us. And the shoes. Well,  the Michelin Man (and the Marshmallow Man) pop to mind. That said, from the neck up, she’s a doll.

Pretty Woman, where’s your date to Red Lobster? While you still look like a million bucks and we dig your necklace, shoes and megawatt smile, this look is way too cazh for the Globes, whether you are just presenting or not. Ms. Mariah Scary, where do we begin? Um, at the top. Your cup runneth over and you are not Miss Golden Globes. A little subtlety would go a long way in the class department, but stay just the way you are. At least you give us someone to add to this list. Penelope, you’re always on our Best Dressed List. Que pasa? Though you still look so gorgeous we want to keel you, this look is way too ole for us. We feel like you should be singing at Chi-Chis. Does Chi-Chis still exist or did we just date ourselves, kind of like Penelope dates herself in her Globes gown? She and present-day Sophia Loren could be twinsies.

Heidi, one minute you’re in, the next you’re out. To be fair, you did just have a baby like 30 seconds ago. To also be fair, it kind of looks like it (doesn’t she look tired?). We’ve never had babies and could guarantee you we would look so so so much worse, but she’s knocked it out of the park so many times that we’ve become spoiled and expect a home-run from this hot mama every time. This is more like a walk (and that concludes our baseball references). We love moms, we swear and Amy Adams looks kind of glowy and happy, but her matronly dress is a mayjuh downer. Too Hillary Clinton circa well, now. Girl from Glee, we don’t think you’re preggers, so why wear a Jessica McClintock dress that makes you look it?

Diane Kruger is a breath of fresh air in her hot pink Christian Lacroix Haute Couture, rising to join the ranks of our other Best Dressed nominees. What other blond can pull off hot pink without looking like Barbie? Plus, she did her own hair and makeup. The result? Simply stunning Old Hollywood glamour. Many loathed it, we loved it — Christina Hendricks did her Christian Siriano gown (and the designer) proud. The peachy hue looked so new and despite her own Golden Globes being (quite literally ) over the top, we all want to own this dress. Now. Christian, are you listening? Her popping red hair and lips complete the peachy perfection. French and fabulous, Marion Cotillard is beautiful no matter what she wears and looks like a million Francs (wait, Euros) in her one-shouldered Christian Dior stunner.

We’re obviously gaga for ruffles done right and Chloe Sevigny is confection perfection in Valentino (well, at least she was before her dress was accidentally stepped on and ripped by her usher to the stage when she won Best Supporting Actress for Big Love — oops!). Nude is not easy to pull off and neither are shoulder and hip embellishments that look like coral, but we think Drew rises to the occasion, glowing like the Hollywood royalty she is in her Atelier Versace gown. 30 Rock funny girl Jane Krakowski is anything but a joke in a single-shouldered J. Mendel stunner, officially making her one to watch on the red carpet from here on out.

Frill seekers aren’t the only ones topping our list. In fact, we were won over by the simplicity of Jenna Fischer’s, Jennifer Aniston’s and Jennifer Garner’s gowns. Is is the year of the Jen? Perhaps. All we know is these slightly sporty, sleek and sexy styles made us think twice.
